A Day in Sam's Life
Sam starts/begins/wakes up his day at seven. He quickly/briskly/slowly changes into his clothes and makes/eats/prepares a quick bite to eat. After breakfast, Sam heads/goes/rushes to work. His job is teaching history, which he really likes.
During his break, Sam reads a book. When his workday comes to an end, he goes to the gym/plays basketball/watches TV for a while. In the evening, Sam eats dinner and watches movies with his family or friends. Before bed, he brushes his teeth. Finally, Sam falls asleep at around midnight.

Steve Learns a Lesson
Sam was/had been/went a pretty careless/reckless/thoughtless kid. He often ignored/disregarded/failed to listen his/her/their parents' advice/instructions/warnings. One day, Sam decided/chose/wanted to climb/scale/go up the tallest/biggest/highest tree in the yard/garden/park. He didn't/couldn't/wasn't able to see/realize/understand the danger/risk/peril he was in. As he reached/got to/climbed up to the top, the branch/limb/twig broke/snapped/fell. Sam plummeted/fell/crashed to the ground with a loud/sharp/painful thud/sound/crash.
- Fortunately/By chance, Sam wasn't/didn't get/sustained any serious/major/critical injuries.
- But, he learned a valuable lesson/teaching/truth: always listen/heed/pay attention to guidance/advice/warnings from trusted/reliable/responsible people.
From/After/That day on, Sam became much more cautious/careful/thoughtful. He understood/realized/learned the importance/value/significance of being safe/secure/protected.
His New Friend
Sam was feeling a little lonely. He hoped to have a new pal to play with. One day, while he was running in the park, he noticed something different. It was a little being with glowing fur. Sam slowly walked over to the creature and spoke, "Hello! What's your identity?" The creature laughed and told Sam, "You can call me Lily!" And so, Sam made a new friend. They spent the rest of the day talking together.
Sam was so happy to have found a new friend. He knew that he and Lily would be best friends forever.
